ABSTRACT: This study investigated the Effects of Early Childhood Education on Family Financial Planning. The objectives of this study were to: (1) explore the effects of early childhood education (ECE) programs on shaping children's understanding of financial concepts and behaviors, (2) assess the effectiveness of financial literacy activities in promoting responsible financial habits among families, and (3) determine the long-term impacts of financial education on family economic stability. A survey research design was employed to collect comprehensive data from educators, parents, and financial advisors about their experiences with financial education in ECE settings. A sample size of 160 participants, including preschool teachers, parents, and financial experts, was selected using purposive sampling to ensure representation from diverse socio-economic backgrounds in Ondo State, Nigeria. The case study was conducted in early childhood education centers known for their innovative approaches to teaching financial literacy and economic principles. Findings indicated that ECE programs significantly improved children's and families' understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and savings, contributing to enhanced financial well-being and future economic stability. It is recommended that early childhood education centers continue to prioritize financial education, collaborate with financial institutions for educational resources, and involve parents in financial literacy workshops to promote lifelong financial literacy skills among children and families.
